The mission of the Practical Optics Workshop series is to fill the gap between scientific understanding of optics principles and practical implementation. Many tasks, such as the efficient and effective use of optical design and raytracing software are used daily in optical science and engineering tasks, but are not thoroughly covered in academic classes taught at the James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences, University of Arizona. This series of workshops is focused on developing hands-on skills for optical engineering students, faculty, and other interested parties. We look forward to solving your optical problems!
Thank you for your interest in the services provided by the Practical Optics Workshop.
